Real Madrid make a donation of €1m to Ukrainians in need

With Russia and Ukraine’s conflict continuing, Los Blancos have donated a great amount of money to the people in need.

have made a donation of €1million to help the people in need amid Ukraine and Russia’s conflict.

Russia invaded Ukraine about three weeks ago and about three million people had to flee their country to seek refuge at the neighboring countries, as per reports from the United Nations (UN).

European football governing body UEFA recently gave €1m to help take care of the Ukrainian children and Real Madrid have made the same amount of donation through the Real Madrid Foundation.

The La Liga giants announced the matter on their official website on Wednesday and the funds will go to the Red Cross and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Real Madrid will donate 1m euros, within the framework of the 'Everyone with Ukraine' campaign, launched on March 5 by the Real Madrid Foundation,"

the statement read. 

Los Blancos also pronounced that the 'Everyone with Ukraine' campaign will keep going as long as need to assist the ones in need.
