Will Vlahovic joining Juventus mean Dybala will leave?

The Fiorentina star has attracted the attention of the Bianconeri, which suggest Paulo Dybala may be on his way out.

As per reports from

La Gazzetta dello Sport

,

Dusan Vlahovic

’s agent and the Bianconeri have agreed on a-year deal with the player open to making a move to Juve in January.

However,

Fiorentina

require a cash offer around €70m and won’t accept a player included in the deal.

Juventus

CEO Maurizio Arrivabene admitted that the Bianconeri cannot afford a big-money move in this month. Based on reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Old Lady’s transfer budget for the next two transfer windows is exactly €70m.

The two sides did not even start a talk yet, but reports claim that Juventus are keen on penning with Vlahovic when the season ends. A question arises as to how Bianconeri can afford both Vlahovic and Paulo Dybala.

One of Arrivabene’s plans is to lower the wage bill, meaning Dybala and other Juve players will be asked to take a pay cut.

Aaron Ramsey, one of Juventus’ highest earners, is going to depart in January; however, his €7m-a-year salary being reduced is not enough for balancing the books.

Dybala’s wage is similar but he reached an agreement on a deal worth €10m a year, and Juventus cannot afford it anymore.

The

Serie A

giants also have to make Federico Chiesa and Moise Kean’s moves permanent. They have paid €10m for acquiring Chiesa on a loan deal in 2020 and should add a further €50, including add-ons to pen with him for a permanent contract.

Kean is on a loan spell from Everton for €7m. The Bianconeri should make his move permanent as well for €28m during the next campaign plus up to €3m in bonuses.
