Nigeria’s AFCON 28-man list released
The final 28-man list for the Super Eagles Squad of the 2020 AFCON has been released by Nigeria. Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Watford’s Emmanuel Dennis are included in that list.

Africa Cup of Nationshappening in Cameroon on 9 January, 2022 through a statement released on Saturday.
Three-time AFCON winners Nigeria will go against
Egypt, seven-time winners, Sudan and Guinea Bissau, with the group opener clash against the Pharaohs on 11 January 2022 meaning the Eagles should hit the ground running.
The Super Eagles coach chose four shot-stoppers, nine defenders, five midfielders and 10 forwards as they get ready to fight for their fourth title.
Others on the list are keepers Maduka Okoye and Francis Uzoho, defenders Kenneth Omeruo, Olaoluwa Aina and Abdullahi Shehu, midfielders Joseph Ayodele-Aribo and Chidera Ejuke and forwards Moses Simon, Odion Ighalo and Samuel Chukwueze.
Kelechi Nwakali, the former U17 World Cup-winning captain, is also returning to the team along with forward Emmanuel Dennis, and 2016-Olympics star Sadiq Umar.
NFF announced that all the players on the list will come to Nigeria’s federal capital, Abujo on 29 December and the players in UK will come on 3 January, 2022.
