Alessandro Antonello

, the Nerazzurri Corporate CEO, and

Paolo Scaroni

, the Milan President, were in the meeting; however, it was only the Inter director who talked to the media.

There is a road map that we hope will speed up the approval process,”

Antonello said, as quoted by

.

“We have not yet discussed technical matters. We are willing to review the entire project from the perspective of environmental sustainability as long as there is a certainty about the timing. By now, the horizon is 2027. The deadline has become that.”

According to Antonello, San Siro will be the Winter Olympics stadium in Milan and Cortina in 2026.

Beppe Sala posted a confirmation on Facebook saying that the Winter Olympics’ inauguration ceremony will be held at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

He also emphasized that the new stadium project, which is going to be built at San Siro, should follow the environmental guidelines.

Both sides have agreed with the conditions and because of the project’s public interest, the municipal council would approve quickly.
