Castillejo pushing to leave Milan in January transfer window

The Spanish winger will leave the Rossoneri in the winter transfer window.

AC Milan

striker Samu Castillejo has verbally agreed with

Getafe

and will join the club in January.

Castillo was expected to leave the Rossoneri during the summer, with Spanish media claiming he was on the verge of joining Getafe on the final day of the transfer window. However, the transfer did not take place and the 26-year-old striker remained in Milan, but it seems that he is still pushing the club to leave the Rossoneri.

The AS claims that the former Malaga striker has reached an agreement with Getafe and that the transfer will reopen in January, leaving for Spain. Real Sociedad, Levante and Elche are among the teams who have been monitoring his situation, but Getafe have been able to win the competition.

Castillejo joined Milan in 2018 and signed a 5-year contract with the team until 2023. In 109 games, he scored 10 goals and 13 assists, but he never lived up to expectations.
