Chelsea given Kante injury blow ahead of Juventus clash

The key midfielder will miss the Blues’ next two games due to illness.

N’Golo Kante, who missed Chelsea’s first three games of the season due to a muscular injury, will not be able to participate in his side’s next two games. The Frenchman has been ruled out of the games against

Juventus

and

Southampton

due to injury, with Chelsea being forced to use Ruben Loftus-Cheek or Kai Havertz as a replacement.

Chelsea defeated Zenit in their opening Champions League game of the season but must be prepared for a tougher battle against the Serie A giants. After a disappointing start to the season, the Bianconeri have displayed promising performances in their 3-2 victories against Spezia and Sampdoria.

Following their game against Juventus, the Blues will continue their Premier League campaign with a match against Southampton on Saturday. Kante is set to miss that game too, with the World Cup winner being expected to come back after the international break.
