Barcelona have two weeks to offload three players

The Blaugrana have only two weeks of the transfer window to reduce their salary cap.

Barcelona

are still trying to reduce their wage cap notwithstanding

Lionel Messi

’s departure. Despite the six-time Ballon d’Or winner’s move to

Paris Saint-Germain

, the Catalans’ salary is 95% of their income and it should be between 60-70%. Therefore, they still have to reduce their salary.

They have only two weeks to do that, which is going to be a rather tough job. Barcelona plan to cash in on three of their players before the window closes, as per reports from

Diario AS

, with

Samuel Umtiti

,

Martin Braithwaite

and

Miralem Pjanic

being the ones they plan to send away.

Umtiti does not want to depart Camp Nou unless he receives an offer from a title-contending side. Braithwaite, meanwhile, would also like to remain put and he met the back of the net twice during Barcelona’s opening clash against Real Sociedad.

Pjanic, however, is willing to go out the exit door, but the club has a problem regarding offloading him as they have £60million in amortization payments remained after his move in 2020.
