Manchester United has sent Facundo Pellistri to Deportivo Alaves on loan.

Manchester United

sends

Facundo Pellistri

back to La Liga to play for

Deportivo Alaves

on loan again after spending a good pre-season with the Red Devils.

The-19-year old came to Old Trafford from Penarol in his native Uruguay last October, and then he was transferred to Alaves in January to get some experience and playing time in the second half of the season. He made 12 appearances for the La Liga side, and five of them were as a starter to help his side avoid relegation by finishing the domestic competition in 16th place.

After his loan spell in Spain, he returned to Manchester United and showed some good performances in the pre-season games while some of the first team players were away on national duty or holidays; so he got the chance to show his quality, scoring his side’s winning goal in their 2-1 victory over Derby County, and providing an assist for Jesse Lingard against QPR.

Following his impressive performance in the pre-season, some supporters suggested that the young talent could find his place in

Solskjaer’s

lineup for the Red Devils’ 2021-22 campaign, but the club’s former player thinks that with players like Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood, and Amad Diallo ahead of him in the pecking order a loan move to Spain would be the best option for him to improve and gain experience.
