Bellingham: "We win together and we lose together”

Bellingham backs Rashford, Sancho and Saka against the criticism.

Following

England’s

defeat in the Euro 2020 final in the penalty shootouts against Italy, many fans have criticized the players who lost their penalties, and some of them used racist messages to hurt the young talents who missed their opportunity to help the Three Lions achieve their long-awaited dream.

Now

Bellingham

, who has made three appearances for England in the Euro 2020, has backed his teammates, insisting that racism and online abuse is hurtful but not surprising.

Jude Bellingham posted on Twitter:

"We win together and we lose together.

"So proud to have teammates with such top character.

"Takes huge b*llocks just to volunteer.

"As for the racism, hurtful but not surprising. Will never get bored of saying that more needs to be done. Educate and control the platforms!"

Despite feeling so disappointed, England players seem to be recovering from the hurtful experience of seeing a dream slipping away as their captain Harry Kane insists that the Three Lions are ready to regroup for the World Cup with a squad that has already proved their potential and quality.

He has posted on social media after seeing another trophy slip through his grasp:

"Last night hurts.

"It’ll hurt for a long time. But we’ve come so far and broken down so many barriers that this is not the end.

"We win together, lose together and will regroup together for the World Cup. Thanks for all your support this summer."
