Iniesta told

:

"Perhaps because of his characteristics Mbappe would fit better at Barca than Haaland.

"They are two very good players who are on everyone’s lips, we will see if they continue in their teams and do not change this summer."

Asked about

’s performances for Barcelona last season, Iniesta responded:

"The important thing about Pedri is that he is Pedri.

"He is a player that I like a lot, he is a kid who has to continue growing and learning.

Pedri was a key player for Ronald Koeman’s side in their 2020-21 campaign. The 18-year-old featured in 37 La Liga matches for the Blaugrana, scoring three goals and providing three assists.

Iniesta added:

"When I see him play, I see a player who has a good time on the field. He’s a very focused guy."

Pedri is currently on international duty with Spain. La Roja are set to face Croatia in their Euro 2020 round-of-16 tie on Monday.
