Spotify owner Daniel Ek raises his bid to buy Arsenal

Daniel Ek, Spotify’s owner, is determined to raise his offer to £2bn to buy Arsenal.

Daniel Ek

made his first offer which was around £1.8bn, but

Arsenal

owner

Stan Kroenke

rejected his bid.

Notwithstanding getting rejected, the 38-year-old Swede still stayed keen on his pursuit and reports claim that the Billionaire Arsenal supporter aims to make an even higher offer of around £2bn.

However, Stan Kroenke’s decision will not alter as he and his son Josh stated that they will stay "100 per cent committed to Arsenal and are not selling any stake in the club" in April.

"

Our ambition for Arsenal remains to compete to win the biggest trophies in the game and our focus remains on improving our competitiveness on the pitch to achieve this,"

the statement read.

The Billionaire, on the other hand, is eager to convince the Kroenkes to hand the ownership over by making a "very compelling offer" after supporters gathered outside the Emirates Stadium protesting against the European Super League, asking the club owners to resign.

Ek tried to negotiate with the Arsenal Supporters’ Trust, whereas

Thierry Henry

and

Dennis Bergkamp

are supporting the Swede’s goals.

According to

Sky Sports

, Henry told that Ek “reached out” to the owners to negotiate his offer to take over Arsenal and plans to "reinject the Arsenal DNA".
