Fred returns to his national team after three years

Manchester United’s Fred has been among Brazil’s 24-man squad against Ecuador and Paraguay.

players in their upcoming games in the World Cup qualifyings; against Ecuador and Paraguay, it will be his first time in the national team since 2018.

The last time Fred played for Brazil was in their 2-0 victory over Saudi Arabia in a friendly match two and a half years ago.

These two games are important for Brazil's boss as he will watch the players’ performance to make up his mind for his plans for Copa America that will start in June.

"We have a very high expectation,"

Tite said.

"It is a difficult moment for everyone. These games give us a chance to be in contact with the players.

"We will look at continuing with our performances and results. Right now it is only possible to think about these two games and nothing else."
