“This is the best tactic because it’s impossible to make decisions without knowing all the details and taking the time to understand them.
“I never let outside noise affect my decisions.”
Roma are seventh on the Serie A table and expect Mourinho to lift them back into the race for a Champions League spot, a responsibility he is accustomed to.
“The pressure is always present in football,”
he said.
“We focus on the basics and our preparation and keep the environment fun but committed and professional.
“For me, every game has pressure because they all mean different things. There’s pressure with a derby, a semi-final, a Final to win the trophy and three points to climb in the table and not lose your position.”
