Chelsea eying Lukaku as Werner’s replacement
With a whole set of misfiring strikers, the Blues are reportedly in the market for a new prolific striker with numerous targets being suggested.
According to the Sun, Chelsea are planning to resign the Belgian from Inter this summer and are prepared to offer a £90m fee.
Starting his career at Anderlecht, Lukaku moved to Chelsea in 2011, but the majority of his career was spent on loans at West Brom and Everton before making a permanent move to the Toffees in 2014.
After a spell with Manchester United, the 27-year-old striker signed for Inter for a reported €74m in 2019 and went on to score 61 goals in 91 competitive games with the Nerazzurri.
