Federico Bernardeschi tested positive for Covid-19

Juventus have pronounced that the Italy international has Covid-19.

The number of positive coronavirus cases has been rising after the World Cup qualifiers.

has also tested positive and it makes him the third Juventus player to be dealing with Covid-19.

The other two players are Merih Demiral and Leonardo Bonucci, who got the virus after returning from international duties.

Alessandro Florenzi, Marco Verratti, Salvatore Sirigu, Vincenzo Grifo and Alessio Crago had tested positive after coming back from the Italy retreat, and Bernardeschi is the next.

Juventus Football Club announce that, during the checks provided for by the protocol in force, Federico Bernardeschi’s positivity to COVID-19 has emerged,”

Juventus wrote.

“The player is in isolation and asymptomatic. The club remains in contact with the health authorities following the protocols envisaged to allow training and competition activities for the Team Group.”
