Sky Sport Italia has claimed that AC Milan have entered into negotiations with Josip Ilicic’s agent and the Slovenian midfielder is considering leaving Atalanta.
There have been reports that the Rossoneri are interested in signing the 33-year-old Atalanta midfielder. Ilicic's contract in Bergamo expires in 2022, which can be extended for another year.
According to Sky Sport Italia pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, AC Milan have contacted Ilicic’s entourage to ask about his availability.
His harmony with Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini has depreciated recently and he could consider a move away.
Ilicic spent most of his career in Italy, when he joined Palermo in 2010, then moved to Fiorentina in 2013, and finally to Atalanta in 2017.
