Saka, Smith Rowe, and Xhaka could miss Liverpool match like Luiz

Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe might miss the game against Liverpool and join David Luiz.

David Luiz

is going to miss the game on Saturday as

Arsenal

have stated that the 33-year-old center-back has encountered “discomfort” in his right knee, according to

FotMob

.

The Gunners had a 36.8 percent win rate in the 19

Premier League

games in which David Luiz has featured this season. This result could be compared with the 50 percent win rate in the 10 games for which he has been absent.

They have also collected an average of 1.4 points when he has played and 1.6 when he has not.

Arsenal also in an injury update on their website said that

Bukayo Saka

’s right hamstring problem is still under observation.

Saka was forced out of England’s three World Cup qualifiers and the club said that he

“will be assessed ahead of Saturday's match regarding his availability.”

The same goes for

Emile Smith Rowe

, who has suffered tightness in his right quad on England Under-21 duty.

Manager

Mikel Arteta

has to also wait longer to learn whether former captain

Granit Xhaka

is ready for the game. The Swiss midfielder missed the training session on Friday as he was feeling unwell on his return from international duty.

However,

Willian

is available and has fully recovered from a left calf injury.

The former Chelsea midfielder has been able to provide the most assists (7) of all Arsenal players this season across all competitions and Rowe and Saka (both 6) are just behind him.

Arsenal have lost only two of their last 20 Premier League home matches against

Liverpool

(D9 W9).
