Considering that the games will take place in the Cartuja stadium in Seville, it is expected that up to 20-25 percent of the stadium’s capacity will be filled with fans, which means that in a stadium of 60,000 capacity, 18,000 spectators will be allowed to watch the game from up close.
The cup’s delayed edition of 2019-20, will be held on April 3rd between
Athletic Bilbaoand
Real Sociedad, before the former go to face
Barcelonatwo weeks later for the final of the current campaign.
To prevent fans from breaching Covid-19 protocols, the tickets will only be sold in the southern region of Andalusia, where the matches are held.
The 2019-20 Copa del Rey final was delayed due to the request of both clubs and their wish to play the game in front of the fans.
