Yannick Bolasie- The latest player to receive racist abuse on internet

Middlesbrough winger Yannick Bolasie has featured a racist message he received on Instagram on Wednesday.

Bolasie becomes a most recent sportsman to be the objective of racist abuse via web-based media stages; Instagram affirms it is examining the maltreatment.

The 31-year-old tweeted a screen capture of the message and said:

"Something seriously wrong with people...Keyboard warriors.

"Still yet to meet a person who had this energy when they saw me."

Instagram have revealed to

Sky Sports News

they are researching the maltreatment.

The upsetting pattern of professional athletes getting racist maltreatment via online media stages does not indicate subsiding.

Instagram has incapacitated the record of one user who sent offensive remarks to Burnley defender Erik Pieters and his family, following the draw with Arsenal a weekend ago.

Twitter also has suspended the user's account who sent racist comments to Dragons rugby winger Ashton Hewitt in January.
