"Ronaldo remembered me" - Gyasi

Spezia forward, Emmanuel Gyasi played 100th matches for the club counting last night and despite Spezia's loss against Juve, he celebrated with Cristiano Ronaldo's gift.

Spezia

managed to control the first half of last night's match, but the Old Lady ultimately scored three goals in the second half.

"It’s a great achievement, I am so happy for it, but it’s a pity we could not celebrate taking some points,”

he published on Spezia’s official website.

“Unfortunately, in the second half, we were punished at the first opportunity. We go home without points but with the knowledge of having played our cards well.

“Now it is vital to think about Saturday's game, which is fundamental for our season.

“It will be like a final for us. We’ll start preparing the game from tomorrow. We must try to impose ourselves and bring home the three points.”

Gyasi

had admitted he spoke with Cristiano Ronaldo after the last encounter between Juve and Spezia in November, but the Portuguese did not swap shirts with him.

“He remembered me and this time he gave me his shirt at the end of the first half,”

Gyasi added.

"It’s a real honor for me since he’s my football idol.”
