Two ex-Arsenal players to do a part in Odilon Kossounou's transfer

Gervinho and Eboue to play a part in Odilon Kossounou's transfer to Arsenal. According to reports, the Gunners will race Inter Milan with an £8.5 million offer for Club Brugge's defender.

The 20-year-old played in the

Champions League

group stages for the Belgian side this season and caught many eyes as he aided his side go 12 points clear at the top of the table in the Belgium league. 

As per the Mirror, the Ivory Coast international is a top priority for Arteta's side this mid-year.

The defender is probably going to ask for an expense of around £8.5m in addition to bonuses; however, the London side is not the only club in for the deal. 

Inter

are also interested, yet are battling with monetary issues, while clubs in Spain also observe his circumstance.

Premier League

side have gotten positive words from previous players

Gervinho

and

Emmanuel Eboue

in the wake of asking the Ivorians to assess their countryman. 

Kossounou is in his second season with Brugge after a move from the Swedish side Hammarby in the late spring of 2019 and has an arrangement until June 2024.
