Valdano: ‘Mbappe is further away from Real Madrid than ever’

"He has the personality to show all his class in the important games. I think that after this game, Mbappe is further away from Real Madrid than ever,” Valdano said.

"I do not see them [PSG] now being very interested in the idea of replacing him with [Lionel] Messi."

Mbappe is the third player after Faustino Asprilla and Andrei Shevchenko, who has been able to score a hat-trick against Barcelona in the Champions League.

Lionel Messi scored the opener in the 27th minute from the penalty spot but Mbappe managed to score the equalizer five minutes later.

Mbappe also expressed his delight before talking about his future at the club.
