Gnabry frustrated about the club's German Cup elimination

Gnabry says that he would be happier if they were still trying to win the German Cup title, but they have to move on.

Serge Gnabry

talked about the "mixed feelings" the club have after being eliminated from the

German Cup

competitions.

He did not expect to miss the competitions after suffering a defeat from

Holstein Kiel

. He said:

“We have mixed feelings. We're still angry about giving away a title and being knocked out in a game like that.

“But of course it's also good to be at home for a week and not have to go back to full speed after three days, but to be able to train for a change."

He then expressed his feelings after winning the cup if

Bayern Munich

had made it to the finals:

“However, at the end of the season, winning the cup would probably make me happier than the few days I didn't have a game.”

The winger also talked about

Hansi Flick

's feelings and stated:

“Of course, he's also upset because we were eliminated in the cup. But as a coach, you have to move forward, because the next game is always just around the corner, and you have to win it again.

“We've managed to turn things round relatively well recently and have been successful in recent games.”

Gnabry mentioned the club's match against

Al Ahly

in the

Club World Cup

competitions and said that gaining a win in the upcoming match would be to "win another title, which would be the sixth"
