Liverpool to sign Ozan Kabak before transfer deadline
Liverpool eagerly want to sign another center-back to strengthen their defensive tanks before the end of the January transfer window.
The Reds have confirmed the signing of
Prestondefender
Ben Davies
, but they are also hoping to bring in another center-back before the deadline.
Davies will provide
Jurgen Klopp
with extra cover at the back amid an injury crisis but
Liverpoolare set to dip into the market for reinforcements again.
A number of players have been touted as center-back options for Liverpool including Schalke star Ozan Kabak and Marseille’s Duje Caleta-Car.

on an initial loan with an option to buy, with the 20-year-old Turkey international potentially arriving on deadline day.
The 20-year-old has made 14 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga side.
Liverpool are thought to be close to winning the race for his signature, but the Premier League Champions are also looking at alternative options, including
Marseille's
Caleta-Car
.
The 24-year-old Croatia international was offered to the Reds over the weekend. However, Marseille will not allow Caleta-Car to go away unless they can find a suitable replacement.
