The Brazilian player is yet to make a return to his Ligue 1 squad following his ankle injury in December.

Paris Saint-Germain

player,

Neymar

, will miss his fifth game in a row when his team faces their next Ligue 1 opponent,

Brest

.  Since his ankle injury the Brazilian hasn’t been able to train under the supervision of their new manager, Mauricio Pochettino.

The upcoming match will be the second match for

Pochettino

, who replaced Thomas Tuchel in January 2nd. The first match for the Argentine coach ended with a draw, which allowed

Lyon

ascend three points away at the top of the Ligue 1 table.

Neymar’s current injury will force the former

Spurs

boss to work on helping the player get ready ahead of their

Champions League

clash with

Barcelona

. Regarding the 28-year-old’s injury PSG's official website wrote:

"Neymar (ankle): He's started running and is doing individual work."

Pochettino also talked about his plans for the player, saying:

"When Neymar starts training with the squad we will find the best position for him so that he can be the best he can be.”

"We don't like to talk about systems. We will work on the game, on the animation and that all the players including Neymar be the best they can be.”

"They are all leaders, there are different ways of expressing leadership and the more leaders we have in the team, whether in the locker room or on the pitch, the more beneficial it will be for the club."
