Slaven Bilic is the new Beijing Guoan head coach

Slaven Bilic has found a new job as the Beijing Guoan head coach.

The Croatian manager has been appointed as the new head coach for the

Chinese Super League

club

on a two-year deal. 

Three weeks ago,

West Brom

dismissed him and now he has replaced Bruno Genesio who was not offered an extension on his contract.

"Today we officially announce the appointment of Slaven Bilic as the first team manager of Beijing Sinobo Guoan Football Club,” the club stated.

and his team have signed with Beijing Sinobo Guoan Football Club until the end of 2022.

"We would like to welcome Slaven Bilic to Beijing Sinobo Guoan Football Club and hope that he will give his full experience and coaching skills and lead the team to achieve good results in the new season."

Bilic has already amassed a wealth of experience across the globe as he has had spells at Hajduk Split, Lokomotiv Moscow, Besiktas, West Ham, and Al-Ittihad. He also guided his country to the finals of the 2008 European Championships, winning over England in the qualifying and Germany in the group stage.

He will start his job for the new CSL season in the spring.
