Atletico have found a replacement for Diego Costa

Atletico Madrid are thinking about signing a new attacker in this January transfer window following Diego Costa's contract termination with the club.

Luis Suarez is now the major striker but with Alvaro Morata also leaving over the summer, they are low on attacking options in the team.

Reportedly, Real Sociedad striker,

Willian Jose

has been targeted as the most realistic option for

Atleti

.

The Brazilian attacker first joined Spanish football in 2013 when he moved in Real Madrid – but he played in just one first-team match and mostly played for the club’s Castilla team.

After that, he netted 10 goals in different seasons at Real Zaragoza and Las Palmas but it was at La Real where he made his name shine with 59 goals across four and a half campaigns.

Arkadiusz Milik of Napoli was supposed to be the main target, but

Willian Jose

is said to be the most realistic option economically and sportingly for

Atlético

.
