Zack Steffen

has made his Premier League debut for

Manchester City

against

Chelsea

at Stamford Bridge tonight. The German goalkeeper joined the Citizens in 2019 and was directly sent to a one year loan in Germany. The United States keeper plays against Chelsea, as Ederson, City’s first option is injured and Scott Carson sits on the bench.

Steffen has played four times for Manchester City so far this season. He played three times for City in Carabao Cup so far this season and made his Champions League debut in the only continental tournament he played for the Citizens so far.

Pep Guardiola made a couple of changes for this game as Ferran Torres, Aymeric Laporte, Fernandinho and Nathan Ake have all been left out of the squad as well, while striker Gabriel Jesus, Kyle Walker, and Eric Garcia are all in isolation after testing positive for Covid-19.
