Turki Al-Sheikh: Mostafa Mohamed was proposed to me and I rejected

Former Al Ahly honorary president has revealed that Zamalek striker was suggested to his club but he has not accepted a deal.

last season as he scored 16 goals for the Egyptian side and helped them to win the Super Cup as well as the CAF Super Cup. The team also reached the CAF Champions League final but were defeated by

Al-Ahly

. The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with

AS Saint-Etienne

in recent weeks and the team’s manager has left him out of the squad for their match against Smouha. Former Al Ahly honorary president who is currently the chairman of Spanish club Almeria has spoken about his former club’s chance to sign Mostafa Mohamed.

“Regarding Egypt I am totally out of the scene in football. I have my own European club and I am fully focused on it. Mostafa Mohamed was proposed to me and I rejected,”
