Herrmann talks about his future at Gladbach

Patrick Herrmann wants to stay at Gladbach for the rest of his career.

Patrick Herrmann

who has played 347 games for

Borussia Monchengladbach

and scored 54 goals and assisted 58 feels so good at the club that he wants to stay there until the end of his playing days according to himself.

"I've always stressed that I'd prefer to spend my entire career at Borussia,"

the 29-year-old winger told Rheinische Post

.

"But Corona has changed football a lot and put a lot of things into perspective. You have to see how everything develops," added the 29-year-old, whose current deal expires in 2022.

"The situation might be an advantage for me when it comes to extending my deal with Borussia, but at the moment we haven't had any advanced talks about it. There is still time.

"One thing is clear: When my contract ends, I'll be 31, so I want to play a few more years. Preferably here in Gladbach, but if it doesn't work out, we'll see what happens."

He already has a contract with the club until 2022 but apparently it wouldn’t be the last deal between him and Gladbach.
