West Brom fired Bilic despite drawing with Man City

Bilic left West Brom after a difficult start to this season and is now likely to be replaced by Allardyce.

West Brom

fired

Steven Biliic

despite Thursday's draw with

Manchester City

and

Sam Allardyce

has said he will replace him.

The draw against City was a big surprise and Bilic showed he could get the team back on track, but the club have made their decision.

West Brom announced the dismissal on Wednesday, but Etihad Stadium announces it soon after the game.

Bilic left the club in 19

th

place in the

Premier League

with seven points from 13 games and they are only two points adrift of safety.

A club statement read:

"West Bromwich Albion have today parted company with head coach Slaven Bilic.

"Assistant coaches,

Dean Racunica

 and

Danilo Butorovic

, and first-team coach

Julian Dicks

have also left the club with immediate effect."

The club also thanked Bilic for leading the team to qualify for Championship last season.

They are many names to replace but it seems former England boss Allardyce is the favorite.

If he takes over as coach, this will be the fifth time he has been added to the Premier League in the mid-season as on each previous occasion, he has finished in a higher position than when he arrived.
