Cesc Fabregas believes there is little difference between Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho and reveals he could have joined Milan or Napoli before joining Monaco.

“They all think they are the opposite to each other, truth is they only play a different kind of football.
“For the way the live football, they are absolutely similar,” the former Chelsea and Barcelona midfielder told Tuttosport.
“They have marked an era, they are among the best coaches of the last 20 years together with [Jurgen] Klopp, [Arsene] Wenger, [Sir Alex] Ferguson, [Marcello] Lippi and [Carlo] Ancelotti.”
The Spanish midfielder also talked about negotiations with different Italian clubs before joining Monaco.
“I was close to three of four clubs before I joined Monaco. I spoke to [Carlo] Ancelotti when he was at Napoli and with [Ivan] Gazidis when he moved to Milan. In the end I opted to join Monaco.”
