PSG plans to release former Real Madrid’s winger

The French champions signed Jese Rodriguez from Los Blancos in 2017. Although he has scored 18 goals in 94 games for the Parisians, the club plans to release him due to his high wage bill.

Having his career stalled since joining

Paris Saint-Germain

, the out of favor 27 years old winger will be released by the French side this month after four unsuccessful loan moves to Portugal, Spain, and England.

After loan spells at

Stoke City

and

Las Palmas

, the Spaniard spent half a season on loan at

Real Betis

in the 2018/19 campaign. The Spanish club decided not to make the move permanent due to the player’s annual wage bill of €3.5m, as he scored only twice in his 18 games.

He scored only one goal while he was on loan at

Sporting Lisbon

, and has featured in just 22 minutes this season for the Parisians.

Jese

has played 52 times since the start of the 2017-18 campaign and has scored just four goals.
