Ferrero: ‘Ranieri’s future is absolutely not in question’

Massimo Ferrero has assured that Ranieri’s future at the club is not under any threat, despite they have not won their last five games.

Sampdoria

patron

Massimo Ferrero

has assured that there is no question about coach

Claudio Ranieri

’s future at the club and discussing the performance after each game is what they do every time and

Torino

was not an exception.

Although Antonio Candreva and Fabio Quagliarella each scored a goal to turn the game around after Andrea Belotti’s opener, ultimately Soualiho Meite scored the equalizer and helped his team to claim one point from the game.

Sampdoria have not won their last five matches, including the Coppa Italia exit against

Genoa

.

“Ranieri’s future is absolutely not in question,” Ferrero said. “There are no problems. After the match, we discussed the performance, but we do that every time, not only after Torino.

“I didn’t like the first half, luckily [goalkeeper Emil] Audero saved everything. He’s a top goalkeeper.”

Sampdoria are going to face

Milan

on Sunday and Ferrero thinks they are going to score two goals.

“I hope they go home sweaty, but not for fatigue but the two goals we will score.”
