Denmark and Leicester relieved: Schmeichel is fine
Kasper Schmeichel whose horrific clash with the opposing player in the game between Denmark and Iceland caused a lot of worries, is in perfect health and will play against Liverpool.

match against
Iceland, which worried the fans. But now it has been reported from Denmark that
Kasper
is doing well and he could even play for Leicester in Sunday's game against
Liverpool.
During the match between
Denmark
and
Iceland
on Sunday, Schmeichel got hit on the head by
Albert Gudmundsson’s knee caused him to faint on the ground for a while. Schmeichel was substituted off between the two halves.
What allayed those concerns, however, was a video released by the
Danish Football Association
showing
Schmeichel
returning to training with his country's national team and training with enthusiasm:
“It was more for the sake of safety on the doctors' recommendation not to take any chances with it,”
Schmeichel said
“But luckily it was just a blow and it was not as bad as it looked. I've seen it now and it looks a lot worse than it is. I am feeling very good this morning, have slept well and am ready.”
This is the best possible news for Leicester boss
Brendan Rodgers
, whose side face Liverpool next Sunday. However, Schmeichel will also play for Denmark on Wednesday match against
Belgium.
