Dembele has 'no regrets' about leaving Tottenham for Guangzhou R&F

Mousa Demebele has no second thoughts about leaving Tottenham for China, in spite of his previous club achieving the Champions League Final season.

He moved to Guangzhou R&F in January for £11m. "When I went to the club they were all chuckling," he said.

"Be that as it may, individuals who know me realize I never lament my decisions. It's a disgrace for me yet I didn't think twice about it for one second."

"I was exceptionally upbeat for Tottenham on the grounds that they deserved it and nobody works more diligently than them," he said. "As players, they are awesome guys so you want them to succeed."

Dembele recognizes cash is a factor in baiting European players yet said his inspiration based on a craving to encounter a fundamentally unique culture.

"Cash is a thing in moving here, obviously," said Dembele.

"Individuals who come here acquire great cash yet it depends. On the off chance that you come here just for the cash and you detest the experience and lock yourself away in your inn at that point, it's awful.

"In the event that you win great money and you appreciate the way of life, at that point, it's a decent encounter.

"I told the players at Tottenham that over the most recent couple years of my profession I needed to go to an alternate nation. At the point when China came, I was cheerful on the grounds that it's a major test and I needed to have a culture shock.

"It's altogether different, including how the general population responds to you in everyday life.

"It depends on how you are as a character. I know many individuals who come here and believe it's junk and abhor it yet in case you're open-minded it's cool.

"It's so entertaining to think the plane ride is 'just' around 12 hours yet it's an alternate world when you arrive - and it's entirely unexpected on the pitch too."

Dembele was a prominent figure at Tottenham and past club Fulham, known for his amazing runs and capacity to breeze past players.
