Early Career 

The little footballer played for the Sao Paulo futsal team and showcased his great talent. The first time Gabigol featured on the international level was in November 2011 when he was called up to the Brazil under-15s. On 22 July 2014, he was part of the under-20s for the year's L'Alcudia International Football Tournament. He made a lot of wonders for his country and was named the competition's top scorer.
