The 28 years-old Brazilian has a unique set of skills and his timely interventions have so many times proved crucial for Real Madrid. Last season, The Brazilian recovered 12.6 balls for every 90 minutes, giving the front line many opportunities for setting up attacks. He also made 294 recoveries, 68 interceptions and 60 successful tackles, more than any other midfielder in La Liga last season.

As well as being a perfect midfield destroyer, Casemiro contributed a lot in the final third. He scored three goals and provided 4 assists in his best year with Real Madrid.
