Arsenal's narrow 0-1 win against Burnley ended by a crowd tussle

Scuffles broke out, and items were hurled into one of the stands as the guests cheered their traveling side.

Arsenal's win over Burnley on Saturday culminated in a brawl in the Turf Moor stands, when supporters fought with each other and with security staff.

The Gunners won 1-0 thanks to

Martin Odegaard

's first-half goal, their second successive

Premier League

triumph following three consecutive losses to begin the season.

However, as Odegaard and his teammates rejoiced on the pitch and acknowledged the visiting fans after the final whistle, tempers erupted.

After the game, the Gunners' squad saluted their fans, who had traveled up to Burnley and were ecstatic following a crucial victory.

Odegaard,

Aaron Ramsdale

, and

Kierney Tierney

went a step further, donating their jerseys as a token of their appreciation.

Those tactics, however, did not sit well with some Clarets spectators, and a brawl ensued between the two groups of fans behind the goal.

With only a narrow walkway separating the Burnley and Arsenal supporters, both sides attacked each other in an unpleasant conclusion to the afternoon's play, resulting in a flurry of objects being hurled between them.

While the Turf Moor public address system tried to persuade the crowd to leave the stadium as soon as possible, the few stewards stationed in the stand attempted to separate supporters and restore peace.

Arsenal's triumph moves them up to 12th in the Premier League table after five games, as Mikel Arteta's side begins to forget about a disastrous start to the season that threatened to put the manager out of a job.

On the other hand, Burnley is still struggling and currently sits in second place with only one point from a possible 15 thus far.
