Mendy picks another injury ahead of Valencia clash

Ferland Mendy has picked a muscle injury and will be sidelined for the next few games.

Real Madrid

has been without

Ferland Mendy

since April, and now the reports suggest that he has picked another muscle injury. The 26-year-old left-back was supposed to be back in his side’s La Liga clash against Celta Vigo, but he was ruled of

Ancelotti’s

lineup, and then he also missed Real Madrid’s Champions League opening game against Inter, so now Marca claims that he has picked another injury.

The reports suggest that the left-back felt some discomfort in his muscles after Real Madrid’s final training session ahead of their Celta Vigo clash, and then scans have shown a fresh muscle injury and that injury will keep him away from the action for at least three weeks which means that he is going to miss his side’s games against Valencia, Real Mallorca, Villarreal, and Espanyol, as well as a Champions League clash with Sheriff.

He is set to recover from injury in October’s international break, and this can be good news for him as he will get enough time to regain his fitness, but the situation couldn’t be worse for Carlo Ancelotti as he is already without

Marcelo

and

Nacho Fernandez

and

Miguel Gutierrez

are all he has to fill the left-back position.
