Lingard will decide about his future in January

Jesse Lingard’s future at Manchester United is in doubt until January.

There have been reports about

Jesse Lingard

and his future at Old Trafford as he may part ways with the

Red Devils

in January. Lingard has been struggling for playing time since

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s

arrival; former Manchester United star has never given the England international a regular starting spot in his lineup, which led to Lingard’s loan move to West Ham, where he spent four-month and showed impressive performance there.

The 28-year-old has been an important part of Gareth Southgate’s squad in the England national team, and with their 4-0 victory over Andorra, he scored a brace, but he hasn’t been able to show such quality in Manchester United.

Now, with Manchester United’s impressive performance in the transfer market, the situation will be even worse for the England international, so his decision can be parting ways with the Red Devils.

Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo have joined the Red Devils this summer, making Solskjaer’s decision for his starting lineup much easier and making it harder for a player like Lingard to compete for regular playing time, and all these have happened in a situation that they already had players like Rashford, Greenwood, Cavani, Martial and Pogba in their squad to help them in the front positions.
