have loaned
Joshua Zirkzee
to
Anderlechtwithout an option to purchase. The 20-year-old striker decided to leave the Bundesliga giants to gain playtime and experience at the Belgian champions.

Hasan Salihamidžić
said:
“It’s very important for Joshua that he gets as much playing time as possible. Anderlecht offers him this chance. Joshua can now take the important next step in his professional career in an interesting league, and I trust him to have a good season.”
With
Robert Lewandowski
and
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting
in Bayern’s attacking line, Zirkzee would hardly have the chance of playing next season.
Nevertheless, Salihamidzic praised the Dutchman last week.
“He has a huge career ahead of him. He's a great boy. We are going to keep a close eye on him here, he will get a chance here."
Salihamidzic assured BILD
.
Sky Italia reported that Zirkzee could once again start in Serie A. He appeared on the radar at
Hellas Verona, but in the end, Anderlecht proved more persistent.
Anderlecht are a good team and a perfect landing spot for the talented striker. At 20, Zirkzee is still young enough to rediscover that quality that initially made Bayern Munich sign him.
