Getafe acquire Sandro’s services on a loan deal

The former Barcelona midfielder is going to stay in La Liga notwithstanding being relegated to the Segunda division with Huesca.

Sandro Ramirez

played in 20 La Liga matches for

Huesca

in the 2020-21 season after joining on a free transfer in October.

Notwithstanding his efforts, he couldn’t help them avoid relegation and he will now go back to the top flight.

The 26-year-old has returned to La Liga having joined

Getafe

on a loan spell.

Sandro is Getafe’s sixth signing and he penned a one-year loan contract that includes an option to buy.

This season will be Sandro’s fifth campaign in La Liga in a row despite playing for

Everton

in three years after joining from Malaga in 2017.

When he was playing at Everton, Sandro went on a loan spell at Sevilla, Real Sociedad and Valladolid.

He will not go to Getafe, where Mikel aims to have his second spell as he is appointed as Pepe Bordalas’ replacement.
