Juventus want Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at Turin

Juventus expect Cristiano Ronaldo to stay with them when he returns to Bianconeri’s pre-season training on Monday.

The 36-year-old has another year left to his current deal with the Serie A giants and the Old Lady will not risk losing him as a free agent in 2022.

The Portugal international was said to be frustrated at the end of the last season and had been linked with a move away from the Allianz Stadium.

But the club’s vice president

Pavel Nedved confirmed on Saturday that Ronaldo will not leave the club

in the summer transfer window.

Center-back

Giorgio Chiellini

is also out of contract, as his deal with the Bianconeri expired on June 30, and his agent said there have been no talks in place yet.

The former

Juventus

midfielder also said that the club will offer a new deal to Giorgio Chiellini when he returns from holiday next month.

The Italy captain is currently enjoying an extended break after helping his country to European Championship glory.

Paulo Dybala

's current deal expires in June 2022 but his agent is expected in the next few days to hold a meeting with the Turin club over the contract extension.
