Terzic on the Tottenham, Crystal Palace, and Newcastle United's list

Although Borussia Dortmund’s interim manager, Edin Terzic, reportedly has turned down offers from Eintracht Frankfurt, the German coach might be open to making a move to Premier League.

The

Bild

reported last week that the 38-year-old has turned down an offer to replace Adi Hutter at Eintracht Frankfurt as he finds the idea of moving to a direct Bundesliga competitor too stressful and an illogical career move.

However, that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll serve as Marco Rose's assistant coach next year as Terzic's late success with the club places a direct alternate competitor under Rose.

Hence, Terzic would make a return to England as a head coach while several Premier League clubs are tracking his progress at Borussia Dortmund. The German has previously served as co-trainer under Slaven Bilic at West Ham United between 2015 and 2017.

Sport Bild reports that Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace, and Newcastle United have the 38-year-old on their watchlist as they’re to appoint a new head coach for their upcoming Premier League season.

Terzic speaks fluent English and completed his coaching certification in England. He has previously worked with Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp as well, and the combination builds the German a great resume to work in the Premier League.
