Nicolas Pepe doesn’t regret moving to Arsenal despite ‘some less good’ memories

Nico Pepe is once again starring in Ligue 1as he joined Nice on a loan deal in the summer.

Arsenal’s record transfer signing,

Nicolas Pepe

, has opened up about his time at the Emirates, revealing that he had some good and some bad memories from the 3 seasons he spent at the club.

"My time in England allowed me to evolve,"

he told RMC Sport.

"I got older, I had children so I matured a lot. I have had some very good experiences as well as some less good ones. It forged my mind and it serves me today!”

Unlike his time under Mikel Arteta, Pepe has been getting loads of game time ever since he joined Nice, scoring 8 goals in all competitions. However, his loan doesn’t include a buy option which means that the Ivorian has to go back to Arsenal in the summer.

With his No. 19 shirt already taken by Leandro Trossard, the 27-year-old has a tough time getting back to

Arsenal

’s squad who are flying high at the moment.
