Guido Rodriguez: "The club wants me to continue"

The contract of Rodriguez with Betis will expire next season.

Guido Rodriguez joined

Betis

from Club America in 2020. He was part of the Argentine national team that won the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Betis intends to keep him on the team, He told Relevo.

“I’ll try to be as honest as possible. I’m content, I’m happy, the club wants me to continue, I also want to continue but we have to agree.”

he said.

“Certain things that have to be discussed, but I’m happy, I’m enjoying myself, my family is happy.”

Last season, Guido Rodriguez played 34 games for Betis in La Liga and scored one goal.

“I have one year left on my contract and I’m very good, the club continues to grow, I want to continue growing and many things have to be factored in to continuity. We are very excited.”

Barcelona considered him as one of the options to replace Busquets, but in the end, they signed Oriol Romeu.
