Napoli president De Laurentiis accuses FIFA of stealing millions

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis believes that FIFA stole millions after watching the Netflix series.

Napoli president De Laurentiis was seen speaking at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli in Santa Maria Capua Vetere, province of Caserta. He went on to talk about the conditions that his two teams (Bari and

Napoli

) found themselves in as well as FIFA’s recent scandal.

“Did you see on Netflix what FIFA did? They stole millions. They are in Switzerland, out of every European jurisdiction and nobody controls them,”

he said, as quoted by Il Corriere dello Sport.

Bari currently sits second in Serie B and if the Galletti secures promotion to Serie A next season, De Laurentiis will be forced to sell them or Napoli since one person is not allowed to own two clubs in Serie A to avoid conflict of interest.

“If Bari go to Serie A, we’ll sell the club to somebody who knows how to manage it properly,”

admitted the Italian businessman.

Napoli lost for the second time this season to

Lazio

, reducing their 18-point gap with Inter to 15 points.

“Maurizio Sarri was a smartass. He had a defensive approach rather than playing as he knew. However, the defeat can be useful otherwise we’d run the risk of relaxing.”

De Laurentiis concluded.
