Guti: Mbappe must come to Real Madrid with his head down
Former Real Madrid star Guti says if Kylian Mbappe wants to join the Spanish giants must keep his head down.
has been linked with a move to
Real Madridin recent years and reportedly was close to joining the Spanish club last year, but decided to extend his contract with
Paris Saint Germainuntil 2025.
The 24-year-old Mbappe still is interested in joining Real Madrid in the future, and reports suggest that he may join Real in the summer.
In an interview with El Chiringuito, Guti said if Mbappe wants to play for Real Madrid, he should respect the rules in their dressing room.
Guti said:
"Mbappe must come to Real Madrid with his head down and be like one of the others in the dressing room.
"If this is not the case, he is mistaken and does not know which club he is representing.
"It is reality. [Luis] Figo came, Ronaldo came...
"I don't know what his reality is in Paris and how it goes in the PSG locker room.
"He might be the best player in the world who would be signed, but Real Madrid are much more than that.”
The French superstar has scored 27 goals in 28 games for PSG this season. He also was the top scorer in the 2022 World Cup with eight goals.
