Breaking: Romano confirms Hector Bellerin’s transfer to Barcelona

Long on a hunt for a right-back this summer, after failing to sign the Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta, the Blaugrana went back to the market and a reunion with La Masia graduate Bellerin attracted them the most.

Hector Bellerin

has agreed on personal terms with

Barcelona

to join the club on a free transfer after his contract with

Arsenal

was terminated by the

Premier League

club.

The renowned journalist

Fabrizio Romano

confirmed the news on Twitter:

“Hector Bellerín has agreed personal terms with Barcelona

.”

However, according to the journalist, the deal is not still completely done as it needs Blaugrana’s final confirmation.

Contract now ready — deal only depends on Barça decision now as Arsenal are ready to terminate the contract,”

Romano added.

Despite beginning his career with Barcelona, Hector Bellerin has spent the majority of his career at

Arsenal

. However, despite a quick peak at the Premier League side, he fell out of the pecking order once

Mikel Arteta

took the reign as the manager of the Gunners.

Meanwhile,

Sergino Dest

is on the verge of joining

Milan

for the 2022-23 season as he is undergoing his medical with the club.

The Rossoneri have reached an agreement with Barcelona for the transfer of the player, who will join the Serie A side on a one-year loan deal that includes an option to buy, while the

27-year-old Bellerin

set to replace him at Nou Camp through the next La Liga season.
